Overview
Designing the identity and website for our own studio was the most honest brief we've ever worked on. No client to convince - just two builders deciding what precision looks like.

The Challenge

Most design studios fall into one of two traps: either they over-design to prove capability, or they play it safe to avoid alienating clients. We needed a brand that felt sharp without feeling cold, and premium without feeling out of reach.

The Approach

We started with the name. 'Sharp' does the heavy lifting - it defines thinking, execution, and results at once. Every design decision had to earn its place by reinforcing that single word. The visual system was stripped back to three elements: a near-black foundation, a single gold accent, and white space used with intention.

Gold as punctuation, not decoration

The gold (#C9A84C) never fills a background or dominates a layout. It appears as a hairline, an accent dot, a single word in italic. Used this way, it creates hierarchy without shouting - the same way a well-placed comma changes how a sentence lands.

Typography that earns its weight

Headlines are bold and tight-tracked - every letter counts. Body copy uses generous leading to let ideas breathe. The contrast between compressed headlines and open body text creates a rhythm that feels considered, not generic.

No borders, no cards, no shadows

Sections are separated by color shifts and space, not by visual clutter. Removing decoration forces every element to carry real meaning. If a line, border, or shadow can be removed without losing information, it doesn't belong.

The founder photo in the hero

Most agency sites hide the people behind the work. We put Gabriel and Andrea front and center - because for a two-person studio, the founders are the product. Trust is built through faces, not logos.

Trilingual from the first line of code

Spanish, English, and Portuguese aren't afterthoughts - they're built into the architecture. Every piece of copy lives in a single content file and switches instantly. The studio works across LATAM and Southern Europe; the site had to reflect that without compromise.

Built to load fast and feel faster

Performance is part of the brand. Every animation is purposeful, every image is optimized. The site uses Next.js App Router with static generation so pages load before you expect them to. Speed isn't a feature - it's respect for the reader's time.
